About this work
A man with curled hair and a white collar holds up a printed view of the Abdy van Egmont while seated before stacked books and loose prints. Behind him stand ruined arches and a crumbling masonry wall, and the inscription on the pedestal reads Natus 1597 Obiit 1667.
