About this work

An oil painting by Paul Paede titled Frauenakt shows a seated nude woman with short curled hair, smiling softly as she looks down, resting on a dark upholstered armchair. A white cloth falls across her lap and a pink drape hangs over the chair's back against a dark, loosely brushed background. The signature P. PAEDE appears in the upper left corner.
