About this work

A group of children play on a rope swing hanging from a large tree beside a sandy country lane. A girl in a white blouse and blue apron swings while others pull and hold the rope, and a small boy sits in the dust near a rake. Ducks paddle on a pond at right, with a thatched cottage and haystacks visible across the fields.
