About this work

A watercolor landscape shows a broad open field where a flock of sheep grazes beneath a pale blue sky with soft yellow-tinged clouds. A small windmill and a cluster of trees rise on the horizon, while a woman in a white bonnet and a child in a lilac dress look out over a hedgerow in the foreground.
