This painting shows the Piazzetta San Marco in Venice, framed by a large round arch in the foreground. Elegantly dressed figures in period costume stroll across the sunlit paving, while a dog trots near the viewer. The Gothic facade of the Doge's Palace lies to the left, and a column and distant church dome appear on the right. The work is attributed to Carlo Grubacs.
