Arthur Dove's 1925 work Goin' Fishin' arranges bamboo fishing poles in a fan-like radiating pattern over folded blue denim and a dark weathered wooden board. The curved rods sweep across a green-grey ground, and the textured fabric and worn board give the composition a collage-like surface.
