About this work
An engraved reproduction shows Christ at center gesturing among bearded men in robes, while a woman in a white dress and light headdress bows beside helmeted soldiers in front of stone columns. The plate carries bilingual Italian and French inscriptions naming Bartolomeo Biscaino's painting from the Royal Gallery of Dresden, with the designer F. Gandini and engraver J. Camerata credited.
