About this work

An engraved reproduction shows a nude woman reclining on a bed while a clothed man leans toward her, reaching out with one hand and gesturing with the other. A figure at the left edge observes the scene beside draped fabric and rumpled bedding. The inscriptions in Italian and French identify the source painting as by Luca Giordano from the Royal Gallery in Dresden, with dimensions given in feet and inches.
