About this work
A pencil drawing on tan paper of a stone bell tower with gothic arched openings, a clock face, and louvered belfry windows, beside a lower townhouse with dormer windows and chimneys. Handwritten annotations in French identify the tower as the bell tower of the Eglise des Bernardins at the corner of the rue des Bernardins and rue Saint-Victor, attributed to Jules-Adolphe Chauvet.
