About this work
A pencil and wash drawing shows a small two-storey corner house with a steep mansard roof, dormer window and shuttered windows, set beside a wooden fence and a sloping street. Handwritten annotations in the lower margin identify the house as the former residence of Morey, an accomplice of Fieschi, and the drawing is dated April 1896 and attributed to Jules-Adolphe Chauvet.
