A pencil drawing on tinted paper shows a corner fountain set against the angled corner of a building, with a rounded dome roof and shuttered windows. The handwritten inscription identifies the view as a fountain at the corner of the rue de Poitou and rue Vieille du Temple in the 3rd arrondissement, dated June 1882. The work is attributed to Jules-Adolphe Chauvet.
