About this work
An engraved religious scene shows the Virgin Mary seated on clouds beneath a draped curtain, holding a palm branch and a flask, while angels attend her, one holding a monstrance. A young boy in ermine-trimmed robes offers a crown, and a crowned saint with a scepter stands beside him, with regalia on a cushion below. Printed prayers in French fill the lower margin, and the plate is attributed to Grégoire Huret.
