About this work

This collage combines torn and layered printed paper in grey, pink, cream and ochre tones. A Dresden street tram ticket with a route table and the number 41785 is pasted diagonally across the composition, alongside a fragment of a theatre ticket dated Donnerstag, 21. April. Kurt Schwitters created this work in 1927.
