About this work

Landschaft mit gelben Akten by Otto Mueller depicts three nude figures with yellow-toned bodies standing among palm trees and dense green undergrowth beneath a blue sky. The loose, broad brushwork and flattened forms give the scene a simplified, decorative quality, and the composition is set in a sunlit outdoor clearing.
