This engraved print shows a Gothic-style stone building with pointed arches and a tall gabled facade beside a leafless tree. An arched bridge with a row of openings crosses the foreground, with small figures visible near the arches and a ladder leaning against the right edge. The work is catalogued as The Haunted Man and the Ghost's Bargain, a print from 1848 after Clarkson Frederick Stanfield.
