About this work
A pencil and wash drawing shows the apse and tall spire of a church rising above a sloping street, with a leafy tree at left. A cross and a low wall with a gate appear at the right, and handwritten captions in the lower margin identify the church and the March 1896 date. Jules-Adolphe Chauvet is the recorded artist of this work.
