About this work
A colored drawing shows a tree-lined street with a brick wall, a wrought iron gate, and a horse with a checkered harness beside a man in a top hat and a standing figure. Handwritten French annotations along the lower edge refer to the rue Boislevent and the continuation of rue Mozart toward the place de Passy. The work is attributed to Jules-Adolphe Chauvet.
