About this work
A loose ink or ink-wash drawing in violet-blue on pale grey paper shows a rough landscape with a row of slender conifers on a low horizon. Dark, heavily worked patches of ground and rocky mounds fill the foreground, while the trees are rendered with quick, broken strokes.
