A pen and ink drawing shows a bearded, long-haired robed figure standing with arms extended, holding an ornate scalloped bowl in one hand and a long wavy scroll or cloth in the other. The loose robes fall in full folds to bare feet, and a caption in the lower margin reads 'Figure in Sherburn Window, Durham.' The sheet is attributed to Samuel Hieronymus Grimm and dated 1790.
