This oil painting, titled Sąd Midasa and attributed to Gerard van Honthorst, dated 1630, shows five figures in a dark wooded landscape. On the left, an older man wearing a gold crown gestures toward the group, while on the right a youthful figure holds a lyre and another figure plays panpipes. The scene is lit with strong contrasts of light and shadow against a deep blue-grey sky.
