This is the title page of an auction catalogue for a collection of modern paintings and watercolours, including works by Andreas Achenbach. The printed text announces the sale held at the Galerie Saint-Luc in Brussels on 22 April 1880. The paper shows yellowed foxing and an adjacent blank leaf is visible on the left.
