About this work
A two-page spread from the December 1900 issue of Figaro Illustré shows a half-length tonal reproduction of a standing woman in an ermine-trimmed robe and tiara, captioned as a portrait of the Queen of the Netherlands. The facing page carries advertisements for Dutch liqueurs and sugar-factory machinery accessories, including an engraved figure and a photographic engraving of equipment.
