A procession of mounted riders and a richly decorated blue carriage moves along a muddy road through a flat landscape of bare trees under a cloudy sky. Liveried attendants, one holding a tall lantern-topped staff, accompany white spotted horses in red harness. The painting is titled "Court of the Polish Lord during the journey in times of Augustus III the Saxon" and is attributed to Jan Chełmiński, dated 1880.
