About this work
A sepia-toned drawing shows a muscular nude young man with arms spread wide, his body merging into large feathered eagle wings, with an eagle's head rising behind him within a haloed sun. Stylized flowing lines and wave-like bands fill the background, and a horizon of hills appears at the base.
