A watercolor and pen study of the ornate Gothic west portal of Maria am Gestade in Vienna, with a richly carved canopy, pinnacles, flanking statues and a wrought iron railing before the steps. The tympanum shows a small glowing scene of a figure reclining within a colored window opening. The work is signed by Ernst Graner and dated 1928 in the lower right.
