About this work
A painted interior shows four elderly women seated and gathered around a table near a bright window, one wearing spectacles and resting her hand against her cheek. A younger woman in a yellow dress carries a tray with a cup, while a spinning wheel and a blue-glazed stoneware jug stand among the objects in the room.
