About this work
A lithograph of a narrow Paris street with a large painted cafe sign reading Cafe Momus, 4 Billards, and a row of market stalls with awnings on the left. Pedestrians in period dress walk along the cobbles while a man pushes a loaded wheelbarrow, and a church tower rises in the background. The print is attributed to Thomas Shotter Boys and dated 1833.
