A pencil and colored crayon drawing shows wooden scaffolding and timber bracing built over a construction excavation, with the twin towers of Notre-Dame rising in the background. The handwritten inscription records Metro works between the Pont Saint-Michel and the Petit Pont in November 1906. The work is attributed to Charles Jouas and dated 1906.
