A hand-colored lithographic print shows a barber in a blue waistcoat and powdered wig shaving a seated man whose chin is covered in a white lather, with red marks on his face and neck. A basin, a green cloak draped over a chair, and a pair of tools rest in the simple wooden interior. The work is titled Le barbier N°4 and is attributed to Jean-Baptiste Isabey, dated 1818.
