About this work

This 1896 printed programme by Alfred Choubrac advertises the Folies-Bergère, with the title lettering across the top of the central panel. The left panel shows a woman with curled hair and a halo-like ring in red and green, the centre shows a dancer in a feathered hat beside a clown with flowers, and the right panel shows a clown leaping near a trapeze and a figure on a swing under the words Tous les Soirs.
