About this work
A pen and ink panoramic sketch shows a crowded harbour filled with masted sailing vessels, small rowing boats with figures, and moored hulks along the horizon. Handwritten annotations on the sheet label places including Gosport and the Royal Clarence victualling yards, as well as the hulks two miles up the harbour.
