About this work
A red-ground lithographic poster titled La Bible Amusante, with a central bearded figure and five circular vignettes depicting biblical episodes such as Noah's ark under a rainbow, Eve and the serpent, David and Goliath, and Judith and Holofernes. The text advertises the first series of a serialized satirical work by Léo Taxil with drawings by Frid'rick, sold at 15 centimes.
