This etching shows a courtyard of the Hôtel passage Charlemagne, with a stone building featuring a gothic arch, dormer windows and a carved medallion. Carts, pecking hens and a few figures in long dresses fill the cobbled yard, while laundry hangs from the balconies. The print is dated 1866 and attributed to Alfred Delauney.
