About this work
This etching shows a narrow old street dominated by a gothic stone turret with a conical roof and carved tracery, while pedestrians in period dress walk over cobblestones. The work is credited to Alfred Delauney and dated 1868, and its title refers to the turret on rue Tison as it appeared in 1851, after Boys.
