About this work
An etched street scene shows a narrow cobblestone lane lined with old stone buildings on the left and an ivy-covered wall on the right, with a lone figure walking toward the distance. The handwritten inscription identifies the view as Rue Berton, with the house of Balzac on the left, and the print is attributed to Georges-Henri Manesse, dated 1906.
