This pen-and-ink drawing shows the Seine river beneath the Pont-Neuf in Paris, with arched bridge piers, a row of riverside houses and a church tower on the left bank. Small boats and a sailing barge move across the water, while figures and horse-drawn carts gather on the stone quay at right. The work is signed by Alexandre Céleste Gabriel Prévost and dated 1830 in the lower left corner.
