About this work
This brown ink and wash drawing depicts the conversion of Saint Paul, with a fallen rider and a rearing horse in the foreground and a radiant divine figure seated among clouds above. A handwritten inscription reading 'Rome 1776' appears in the lower right, and a printed label with lot details is visible at the lower left.
