About this work

A black-and-white ink and crayon drawing shows a soldier in a beret and long cloak, rifle raised high, grasping a bottle as liquid sprays from its neck. A second figure in a helmet and gas mask kneels nearby beside a tube and a small case. The caption reads "Nous en avons encore!" and the sheet is signed by Émile Friant, dated Nancy, August 1915.
