About this work
Two young boys stand side by side in matching dark green sailor-style outfits with white collars, white socks and black shoes, against a dark green painted background. The loose, visible brushwork renders the figures and floor in an informal, sketch-like manner. Krøyer, dated 1899, for a portrait of the boys Jørgen and Tyge Bendix.
