A vertical ink drawing on cream paper shows a tall foxglove stem with bell-shaped flowers arranged along its length, their throats filled with solid black ink. The buds open toward the top of the spike, and small leaves appear at the base of the stem. The signature Lilly Walther appears in pencil near the lower right corner.
