This engraving depicts the dead Christ reclining on a shroud within a tomb, with two winged angels beside him, one gently holding his arm. The print is titled Christ in the Sepulchre, attributed to Guercino, and was published in London on 1 September 1832 by John Major, with the engraving credited to A. Duncan.
