This drawn print shows a herd of horses gathered beneath a broad, leafy tree, several standing in the foreground and others partly hidden behind the trunk. A single horse lies resting on the grass at the right, while a flat landscape fades into the distance at the left. The inscription at lower left reads Publish'd by H. Brookes, Coventry Street, Dec 26, 1792, and the work is attributed to Samuel Howitt.
