A hand-coloured engraving shows three greyhounds racing across an open field in pursuit of a hare, while a rider in a red coat on a grey horse raises his hat in the background. A line of trees and a broad cloudy sky frame the scene. The print is titled Coursing, Plate 2, was designed by Samuel Howitt, dates to 1812, and was published in 1790 and republished by Edward Orme in Bond Street in 1812.
