A watercolor and ink drawing shows the riverside front of Shrewsbury House in Isleworth, a two-storey brick mansion with a central pediment, stone quoins and a pedimented doorway set on a lawn. The caption beneath records the front as it appeared in 1796, noting that it has since been taken down and that the site now holds a dwelling house and coal wharf belonging to Mr Friday, a lighterman of Isleworth.
