About this work
An etching shows an armored figure in a helmet and scale-patterned cuirass seated on a rock, pointing toward the distance while two turbaned companions watch beside him. Foliage fills the upper right, a clay jug and pack sit at the lower right, and a body of water recedes under a cloudy sky.
