About this work

Two figures stand side by side against a soft, cloud-filled sky, with a man in a patterned coat and powdered wig gazing toward a woman in a wide-brimmed hat with a ribbon bow who holds a bowl. The tinted print shows a shallow landscape at the lower right, and the paper shows toning and worn edges.
