An engraved view shows a row of old brick and timber buildings with tiled roofs and tall chimneys, one smoking, set on the edge of a shallow pond. Two cows stand in the water while another grazes on the bank beside a cart and a pair of walking figures, with large trees framing the scene. The print is titled View of the Pest-Houses at Tothill Fields, after a drawing by Edward Dayes, and is dated 1796.
