About this work
A hand-colored print shows a rider in a red hunting coat and top hat leaping a wooden gate on a bay horse, with a wooded hillside and open fields behind. Two more riders appear on a dirt track in the distance. The plate carries the caption "Count Sandor's Exploits in Leicestershire" and is credited to J. Ferneley (painter) and E. Duncan (engraver), published by R. Ackermann in London in 1833.
