An oval engraved portrait shows a man in profile wearing a laurel wreath, a lace-trimmed collar and a loose garment, holding a quill pen raised near his face. The word POET is engraved above, and a verse from A Midsummer Night's Dream is printed below the oval. This print by John Hamilton Mortimer was dated 1775.
