About this work

A pen and ink sketch shows the interior of a Gothic church, with a long nave receding toward a screened chancel and altar beneath a large crucifix. Pointed arches, clustered columns, and a ribbed timber or stone vault are drawn in careful linear detail, and faint construction lines remain visible.
